EasyLaTeX 1.2.0 Introduces an Integrated Literature Workspace
EasyLaTeX 1.2.0 brings AI-assisted full-text reading, multilingual translation, highlighting, and annotations into one literature workspace. Researchers can investigate methods and conclusions, locate the supporting text, and keep their observations with the paper.
Support for Close Reading, Not Just Summaries
An abstract cannot answer every question about a study. Understanding an experiment, its evidence, and its relationship to earlier work requires reading the body.
The update strengthens full-text assistance. Discuss background, experimental design, and the argument behind results with AI, alongside a concise paper overview. It also supports analysis across multiple papers, helping connect findings and approaches across a field. Return to the original text to check the details behind an explanation.
Bilingual Translation in the Reading Workspace
The platform offers 11 language options for full-document translation with the original document structure retained. Selected text, passages, and entire documents can be translated from the reading interface.
Keep the original, translation, AI discussion, and personal annotations together instead of switching to a separate translation tool. Research notes remain available for later review and reuse.
A Personal Literature and Resource Library
Literature management includes metadata recognition, custom tags, and filtering to organize a personal research library. Stored papers can be brought into AI-assisted work and reused during writing, connecting collected sources with subsequent citation tasks.
Building a Connected Academic Workflow
Reading and writing belong together. Sources, annotations, and judgments gathered while reading should remain useful when drafting a paper.
We will continue improving AI paper analysis, reader interactions, and the connection between literature work and LaTeX projects, making it easier to move from reading and organization to writing.
