EasyLaTeX Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2025

A. I. Hakusan Inc. is committed to providing high-quality online LaTeX editing and AI services via EasyLaTeX.ai. We understand that refund requests may arise in certain situations. This Refund Policy sets out the eligibility, limitations, and application process for refunds.


1. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  1. Duplicate Charges

    If, due to a system or payment issue, you were charged more than once for the same service, you are entitled to a refund of the duplicate portion.

  2. Unauthorized Transactions

    If you discover a payment on your account that you did not authorize and report it to us within 7 days of the transaction date, we will, upon verification, refund the relevant amount.


2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  1. Change of Mind

    Refunds are not provided for personal reasons unrelated to service issues (e.g., you no longer need the service).

  2. Partial Usage

    If you have already used the core features of the service (e.g., AI layout/formatting, conversion to LaTeX), the consumed portion is non-refundable.

  3. Violation of Platform Agreements

    If your account is suspended or terminated for violating the User Agreement or applicable laws and regulations, paid fees are non-refundable.

  4. Third-Party Purchase Channels

    If you purchased the service through a third-party platform or reseller, please contact that third party directly for refund processing. EasyLaTeX does not accept refunds directly for such purchases.


3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us

    Subject line: “Refund Request”

  2. Provide the Following Information

    • Your account details (registered phone number or email);
    • Transaction/order ID and payment time;
    • A brief explanation of the refund reason and supporting evidence (e.g., payment screenshot).
  3. Review and Feedback

    We will complete our review within 10 business days of receiving your request and notify you of the result by email.

  4. Refund Issuance

    If approved, the refund will be returned to your original payment method (e.g., bank card, credit card, payment platform account) within 20 business days.


4. Policy Changes

A. I. Hakusan Inc. reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. In the event of material changes, we will notify users via announcements on the EasyLaTeX platform or by email. The updated policy will take effect on the date specified in the announcement or notice.
