EasyLaTeX Expands Free Access and Membership Benefits
EasyLaTeX is expanding access to its online LaTeX editor, academic search, and collaboration. New users receive 150 AI credits to try paper analysis, LaTeX troubleshooting, and other AI tasks.
Paid membership is improving too: monthly AI credits increase from 1,000 to 1,500, and project storage expands from 1 GB to 5 GB. The aim is to support different research habits, whether you mainly need an editor or regularly use AI.
More Compilation Time for Complex Projects
The free plan's single-compilation limit increases to five minutes. Equations, figures, and references can make a project more demanding; the extra time gives longer documents more room to compile without trimming them solely to fit a shorter limit.
The browser editor supports mainstream LaTeX engines, shortcuts, code completion, and PDF preview, without requiring a local TeX setup. Paid membership has no plan-level single-compilation time limit.
Search and Collaboration on the Free Plan
This update removes the free account's literature-search count limit and raises its collaboration allowance to five people.
Research often involves advisers, coauthors, and lab colleagues. Shared editing and history reduce file transfers and help track changes. Paid membership does not impose the free plan's collaboration-count limit.
Academic search also remains available without a subscription: find papers, inspect their information, and organize sources for later reading.
150 AI Credits for Research Tasks
Every new registered user receives 150 AI credits. Use them to investigate an unfamiliar paper, extract questions and methods, compare studies, or ask Agent to diagnose a LaTeX problem. AI can also assist with research diagrams and Beamer presentation material.
Different tasks consume credits according to the task. Free accounts can access these capabilities while their available credits cover the usage.
Choose What Fits Your Work
The membership upgrade—from 1,000 to 1,500 monthly AI credits and 1 GB to 5 GB of storage—supports larger projects and more frequent AI work.
Some researchers mainly need a dependable editor; others focus on collaboration, reading, or debugging. The free plan provides a starting point, with membership available as project scale or usage increases.
The announced benefits are available on EasyLaTeX. Create an account to explore the workspace and receive the introductory 150 AI credits.
